Supplied new in April 2006 and supplied with the cherished number plate GD 55 COB the V5 shows 1 former keeper from new (2 owners in total).

The 1st Owner was Dr Gill from new until June 2014. Then our customer, a Knighted owner bought directly from the Managing Director of Gardner Douglas and has owned since covering less than 1,000 miles.

This Gardner Douglas MK 3 styling is based on the AC 289 of which only 27 were made and sold in Europe.

The body shell is a one-piece rigid semi-monocoque (tub) design with double skin mouldings. The MK3 features BCS 60 technology meaning the complete body can be removed from the chassis in just 1 hour allowing for total access and easy servicing.

The chassis is purpose designed lightweight double wishbone with cast alloy uprights. The chassis is two - stage powder coated with Zinc based primer. Equipped with BTR hydrotrack speed sensitive limited slip differential.

Mechanical Condition:
This example has an excellent provenance being just 2 owners from new and having covered a genuine 6k miles. The 6.0 V8 engine sounds incredible as you would expect and feels genuinely rapid in this lightweight body. The clutch and gear change are tight and precise as they should be. There is no ABS or Power steering, this is a genuine drivers car and incredible driving experience. Any inspection or test drive welcome*

Exterior Condition:
In my opinion this car looks absolutely stunning in the flesh. There are some fabulous details on this recreation and it is clearly built to the highest standards (see pictures). Presented in British Racing Green the condition is as you would expect of a 6k mile example that has been garaged from new. The body work is unmarked and beautifully presented. This car has an additional tonneau cover and a soft top (not pictured). The wheels are clean and unmarked with no ingrained dirt or curb damage. Individual body panel pictures on our website. Interior Condition:
A beautifully presented interior that is no tangibly different from new. There are no lingering pet or cigarette smells. There are no marks or signs of wear on the leathers seats, carpets or switch gear.
