Mechanical Condition:
This desirable 4.2 V8 XK8 has covered a genuine low mileage with good provenance and service history. The engine is very smooth and sounds as a Jaguar should with subtle V8 growl from the stainless exhaust but not too loud or intrusive on a motorway run. The gear change is also very smooth. There are no warning lights on the dashboard after extended test drive. Premium Dunlop tyres fitted all round with 5.5 to 6.5mm tread all round, another sign of how well maintained this car has been. Brake pad wear at the last service was noted as only 20% worn front and 10% rear so excellent condition. The underside and suspension is all in good condition.The battery is in good health. Exterior Condition:
As can be seen from the pictures, this is an absolutely gorgeous XK8 and in exceptional condition for the year. Radiance Red is one of, if not the best, colour for the XK8 and with 20 inch Sepang Wheels and Stainless exhausts sits particularly well. There are no scuffs to bumpers with rear park aid in working order. There are no large or excess stone chips to front end. The window surround are in good order as are the wheel arches and sills. The wheels present very well as per pictures with no ingrained dirt and just a few marks inside some of the spokes. The exhausts are very clean with no ingrained dirt. Underside has been protected. Interior Condition:
Presented with extremely desirable Ivory Leather, Burr Walnut Trim with Wood and Leather Steering wheel. This example has never been smoked in (original lighter never used) or used to carry pets and there are no lingering smells. The leather is in good order with no ingrained dirt, or scuffing damage.
