We have recently taken this outstanding XK8 in part exchange from the retired owner who has owned since 2012 agains one of our XKR models. Supplied new on the 11th of April 1997 by Westover Jaguar Dorset to a Mr Gates directly onto a cherished number plate. The Jaguar was subsequently acquired by Sir John Collins Approved Used. Our customer acquired in September 2012 at approx 40k miles and has owned until part exchange with ourselves for an XKR. Each owner has had a cherished number plate fitted. The V5 shows 5 former keepers from new. Cherished number plate shown in pictures NOT included in sale.

Mechanical Condition:
This XK8 has a wonderful provenance and has been owned by our customer since 2012. As per the stamped service book and VOSA MOT history this car has been in constant use even in recent years and never spent long periods off road etc. The engine feels and sounds sweet with smooth delivery, plenty of power and no warning lights. The automatic gearbox is very smooth. Ride quality is good with no audible knocks or vibrations etc. Brakes and tyres all in good order and this is a nice example to drive, a credit to our customer. Exterior Condition:
Presented in beautiful 'Ice Blue' Metallic the bodywork is in particularly outstanding order for the year and the colour really suits the shape. There are no scuffs to bumpers, car park dents or other noticeable marks. There are no large or excess stone chips to front end. There is no corrosion on the rear arches or on inner lip as is common, please see pictures. The window trim surrounds are in very good condition also. The wheels are very clean with no ingrained dirt or curbing damage to the outer edges. There is no visible corrosion on bodywork or sills and the underneath is very clean also. Interior Condition:
A well optioned car when new with 'Cream' Leather, heated seats, wood / leather steering wheel and cruise control etc. The leather seats remain in very clean condition with no ingrained dirt or excess wear damage to bolsters etc. The carpets and Jaguar over carpets are very clean with no excess dirt or wear. The rear seats look to have never been used. The headlining is clean and tight with no sagging at all. The large boot area is very clean with no stains, space saver wheel present and correct. The engine bay and all sills present very well.

A beautiful example, far superior to the vast majority of other similar age / price examples.
