Mechanical Condition:
The R129 is renowned for its legendary build quality and this 1 Lady Owner example with genuine low mileage is an exceptional example. The straight six engine is extremely smooth and performs as it should. Likewise the gearbox is very smooth operating smoothly and resulting in this SL being a very special event to drive. There are no warning lights on the dashboard after extended test drive or issues. This SL is fitted with a new set of Michelin tyres including the full size spare wheel. The suspension is very compliant and smooth with no knocks or vibrations. This example is in exceptional example fir the year and commensurate with a cherished low mileage example. Exterior Condition:
Presented in gorgeous Tourmaline Green Metallic with 16 inch polished alloy wheels this is a very special looking and condition Mercedes SL. The bodywork is in exceptional condition and commensurate with a cherished single ownership example. There is no scuffing damage to the bumpers or car park dents. There are no large or excess stone chips to front end. The wheels present in perfect condition with no ingrained dirt, corrosion, curbing damage or ingrained dirt on front or inner face. Underneath has been cleaned and protected with clear WaxOyl. The soft top has been protected by the hard top from new, original rear windows still fitted. Interior Condition:
Full Mushroom Leather including the rear seats. The interior is in excellent condition and reflects the low mileage covered. There are no lingering cigarette (original lighter never used) or pet smells. The leather is all in excellent condition with no ingrained dirt, dis-coloration or scuffing damage. The carpets and original Mercedes Over carpets are very clean with no stains or wear damage. The engine bay and all door shuts are very clean and present very well. Roof lining very clean with no sagging. Boot area very clean, full size spare wheel and brand new Michelin tyre present and correct.
