Mechanical Condition:
This Mercedes has been serviced on 12 occasions and maintained to a very high standard. This SL had some residual warranty when our MB Owners Club customer acquired and sent to Mercedes for check and rectification work. Both batteries were replaced in 2019. The engine and gearbox perform perfectly as they should, this car was driven by myself from Milton Keynes to Sheffield and was an absolute pleasure with everything in working order and a credit to the gentleman owner. There were no warning lights on the dashboard after extended test drive and 'no malfunctions.' Premium Pirelli tyres fitted all round with the fronts in serviceable condition and rears new in 2022, another sign this car has been maintained to a high standard. Exterior Condition:
As can be seen from the pictures and video, this SL is stunning and very special. The combination of ultra rare Designo Mauritius Blue and factory AMG Body Styling and
19 inch wheels make for the best looking R230 I have ever seen. Condition is outstanding all round and a credit to the owner. The wheels are unmarked with no ingrained dirt or curbing damage to the polished finish. There is no scuffing to bumpers, excess stone chips or car park dents. Very clean exhaust pipes. Interior Condition:
The special specification continues inside with Gray Leather, Panoramic Roof, Air Scarf, AMG over carpets and Harmon Kardon etc. This example has never been smoked in or used to carry pets and there are no lingering smells. The carpets and AMG over carpets are very clean with no ingrained dirt or wear damage. There is no wear damage to any of the buttons, all in working order. The boot area is very clean with no stains or smells. Under the bonnet and all door shuts are very clean with no ingrained dirt. Our customer purchased x2 new keys as there was some wear on the originals (still in full working order), hence the car has 4 working keys and this shows how the owner has maintained the car.
