Mechanical Condition:
This SL as an excellent provenance being 1 Former Keeper from new and an excellent service record with Mercedes and the same Independent MB Specialist right through. The 3.7 litre V6 engine is extremely reliable, very smooth and glides along effortlessly. The 5 speed gearbox is equally smooth and reliable. There are no warning lights on the dashboard after extended test drive. Premium Pirelli tyres all round in good order, another sign this example has been maintained to the highest standard. Exterior Condition:
Presented in rare Cubanite Silver Metallic (Dark Silver / Light Grey to my eye) with extremely rare cost option 18 inch wheel upgrade, this facelift model SL is an extremely attractive example. The bodywork is in very good order for the year and mileage having clearly been well maintained. There are no large or excess stone chips to bonnet. There are no scuffs to bumpers with the front and rear parking sensors in working order. There are no car park dents or other significant marks. The wheels are in excellent condition with no ingrained dirt, corrosion or curb marks at all to the outer edges. Interior Condition:
A lovely specification interior with Black and Grey Leather with Aluminium trim. The glass panoramic roof adds extra light to the interior and makes for a great place to be. The interior has never been smoked in or used to carry pets and there are certainly no lingering smells. The leather is all in excellent condition with no ingrained dirt damage or scuffing. The carpets and MB over carpets are very clean with no ingrained dirt or heel wear. There is no wear to the steering wheel or steering wheel buttons. All the interior buttons are in working order.
