This is a lovely condition, useable Triumph Stag. This example is only 5 former keepers from new and has been owned by our customer for the last 7 years. This car is supplied with an extremely impressive history portfolio to include original service book ,manuals, keys etc etc.

This Stag, VGU 419S, was supplied new on the 24th of October 1977 by
Henlys (South London).

The original Triumph Passport to sale shows 7 Henlys Main Dealer Service Stamps to 18,225 miles 31.10.1979.

It also shows a new engine was fitted by Henlys at 17,225 miles.

In the history file is every MOT certificate dating back to January 10th 1991
at 38,600 miles by MBD Motor Centre. These MOT's show no mileage discrepancies.

Extensive paperwork in the service history shows this Stag belonged to Triumph Enthusiast Club Member from the 1st of June 1982 until 2008. A Mr Parker then owned from 2008 until 2011 when it was acquired by our regular customer (lady owner).

There are guaranteed insurance valuations from the Cherished Car Underwriting Agency from 1995 to 2007 documenting the low mileage covered, stating the car is not driven in the rain etc etc.

One particular document from the Cherished Car Underwriting Agency dated 07.02.1998 states a total restoration to concourse standard was carried out circa 1983 and the car is stored in a heated garage covering very limited mileage (sometimes 0).

There is a certificate from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust showing a certified copy of the factory record showing original colour (White) and chassis / engine number etc (all matching V5 logbook etc).

There is a file of maintenance / service invoices etc.

In May 2012 the Stag benefitted from a bottom end rebuild of the engine by respected specialist (documented in detail in the history file).

Based on this cars excellent provenance and documentation it would appear the indicated mileage of 43,166 is correct.

While not in concourse condition this is a very clean, well cared for example that can be used and enjoyed.

Sold complete with hardtop, soft top, original keys, passport and 2 large files of service history / documents.
