Mechanical Condition:
This Volvo S80 is fitted with the very desirable 2.4 D5 Diesel engine which is powerful, smooth, reliable and extremely efficient being just £35 per year road tax. This is the best engine in the s80 range in my opinion and it performs exactly as it should in this genuine, low mileage example. The clutch and gear change operate as they should with tight, precise changes. There are no warning lights on the dashboard after extended test drive. Ride quality is excellent with the 17 inch wheels. This example has a very good service history including timing belt change and a very good MOT history. Supplied with fresh MOT - no advisory items. Exterior Condition:
Presented in Black Sapphire Metallic the bodywork is in very good order for the year and mileage having been very well maintained. There are no scuffs to front or rear bumpers. There are no car park dents or other significant marks to paintwork. There are some minor stone chips to front end, but nothing significant or that takes away from overall condition. The wheels are very clean with no ingrained dirt or curbing damage to the outer edges. The twin exhaust pipes are very clean with no ingrained dirt. Interior Condition:
This SE Lux has a desirable interior with Satellite Navigation, Bluetooth, Heated Leather Seats and electric / memory drivers seat etc. The seats are particularly comfortable and supportive. This is a very comfortable car to cover distance in. There is no evidence this car has been smoked in or used to carry pets and there are no lingering smells. There is no wear damage to any of the buttons, all in working order. The leather seats are in good order with no excess wear or damage. Rear seats look to have had very little use. The very large boot area is very clean with no stains or damage and benefits from split / fold seats with load through and space saver wheel /tools.
